Charity Research Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed, however stay up to date through our newsletter to find out when our next giveaway is due to take place!

We, at Sapio Research, are not just a bunch of data enthusiasts crunching numbers behind a computer screen – we are also an ethically minded team of individuals, and we’re especially passionate about helping those in the third sector.

Research is a valuable asset for any company. These days, few good business-critical decisions are made without data-driven insight to ensure clarity and confidence. However, we know that not everyone has the means to access this insight, and often, they are the people that need it the most. One such sector is the third sector, I.e. charities and not for profits.

Market research is vital for helping charities better engage with and serve their clients, stakeholders and supporters. Those who help them do the good work that they do, and those that need the help themselves. And we want to help!

Therefore, we are very excited to be relaunching our Charity Research Giveaway for a second year running. This initiative will give one charity or NFP the opportunity to win a consumer research project of their choosing, on us*! This can be any type of consumer research, from Brand Awareness, Understanding your Audience, Thought Leadership or Developing Products and Marcomms, etc. We have worked extensively with many sectors and audiences across the globe and while we specialise in Audience, Brand and Content research, we appreciate that every organisation is different and will work with you to help you get the most out of your project.

We know this sector has been hit particularly hard over the last couple of years – 60% of charities saw a loss of income and 32% experienced a shortage of volunteers following the pandemic**. We can help. Now more than ever is a good time to check in, to get to know your supporters and understand how things have changed. Let’s make a difference together so that we can reach more, raise more and help more.

To enter for the chance to win a FREE consumer research project, all you need to do is tell us about the project you want to run and how it will help your organisation, by clicking here.

If you are not entirely sure how we can help, a good place to start is to think about the questions you are desperate to get the answers to, or the answers that would help you make a better, more informed business decision.

If you’d like more inspiration on how we can help, check out the impact achieved by last year’s winner, The Together Project.

If you are part of a charity or not for profit or know a charity/NFP that could use our help, we would love to hear from you.

Please use the link below to enter and answer a few questions to tell us about your idea and how market research can help you or your client.

FAQs

What can the research be used for?

Essentially, anything. Whether you want to conduct audience understanding, charity awareness and health checks, or want to use the research for content creation, as long as you have an idea and the audience can be reached – we can do it for you.

How many questions can we ask?

You can ask up to 20 questions plus up to 5 demographic questions.

When do we have to use the research by?

If you are the lucky winner, we ask you to confirm within 5 working days, and start the fieldwork within 3 months of the closing date.

What outputs will we receive?

We will offer advice on a fully formed questionnaire, run all of the fieldwork for you and then provide you with Excel data tables, as well as a report in PowerPoint.

How do we enter?

Simply fill in our entry form by 11:59pm on 14th November 2022 – writing a research brief beforehand may help to answer the questions and hone your audience.

What do I need to do?

To enter the giveaway, we’ll need you to write a detailed brief so we understand what you’re looking for.
If you win the giveaway, we’ll need you to draft your own questionnaire (don’t worry we’ll be there to help you along the way with any questions).

Are there any catches?

Not really. All we ask is that we can use the project as a case study, and write about our shared experience of the project on our website blog and social media.

You have until midnight on Monday 14th November to enter.
The winners will be announced by Tuesday 29th November.

We look forward to hearing from you!
